- Fabricate aircraft furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings
- Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells
- Install drawer-slides, hinges, latches, and other hardware in subassemblies
- Apply exterior surface materials such as laminates, veneers, and cap strips
- Use stationary and hand-held power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture
- Comply with safety, 5S, housekeeping, and personal protective equipment policies
- Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off work
- Work with lead and higher-skilled technicians to implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma and other techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years experience in cabinetmaking
- Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred
- Experience in aerospace industry preferred
- Able to climb ladders and stairs
- Able to work in small restricted areas
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to work any shift
- Must be computer literate
- Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products and tools
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Demonstrates expertise in cabinetmaking processes and techniques, with a strong focus on fabricating and assembling aircraft furniture according to specifications. Proficient in using power tools and adhering to safety and quality standards in the aerospace industry.
