About The Role.

The Raw Material Operator is a dual-responsibility manufacturing role responsible for blending products according to quality and product specification requirements while coordinating the flow of raw vegetables and substrate to the production line. This position operates equipment associated with blending, mushroom processing, and zucchini processing in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining product quality, food safety standards, and production targets.

What You’ll Be Doing.

• Order, issue, return, and reconcile raw materials while accurately completing batch sheets and related production documentation.
• Blend products according to quality specifications, customer requirements, and established company procedures.
• Safely operate manufacturing equipment including hoists, grinders, dumpers, blenders, and related processing equipment following standard operating procedures.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and basic maintenance activities to support efficient production operations.
• Coordinate line activities, adapt to product changes, and maintain the flow of raw materials to ensure operational efficiency.
• Accurately add food additives to product mixes and load products according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the work area and comply with all GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Identify, address, and elevate safety and food safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Transport materials and assist with handling heavy products using appropriate tooling and powered industrial vehicles.
• Participate in training programs and consistently utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

What You’ll Need To Be Successful.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities.
• Strong technical aptitude and digital mindset with the ability to accurately enter and maintain production data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions independently.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and accurate record keeping.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, odors, temperature fluctuations, moving machinery, wet conditions, hazardous chemicals, confined spaces, and vibration.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and other physical movements throughout the shift.

Available Shift: C Crew / PM Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule. Shift differential offered.

Pay Rate: $29.30 per hour
