JOB SUMMARYAt Nueske’s, we are passionate about delivering quality products and creating meaningful connections with our customers. We are seeking a Email Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and optimize email and SMS marketing strategies that drive engagement, customer retention, and revenue. Efforts will be highly concentrated on increasing customer lifetime value and repeat purchases.
This role will manage campaign calendars, build automated customer journeys, segment audiences, analyze performance, drive new and repeat purchases, and ensure brand consistency across all email and SMS communications. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and manage the email and SMS marketing calendar aligned with promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Create, write, build, and deploy email and SMS campaigns using email and CRM platform.
- Write compelling subject lines, preview text, and calls-to-action that drive engagement.
- Create digital assets aligned with content.
- Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy, functionality, and mobile optimization.
- Build and optimize automated email and SMS flows, including welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Implement audience segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, purchase history, and engagement.
- Personalize messaging to enhance relevance and conversion.
- Continuously test and refine lifecycle journeys to improve performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, revenue per send, and unsubscribe rate.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creative, send times, and segmentation strategies.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities to grow the email list and increase engagement.
- Assist with forecasting and budget planning.
- Maintain list hygiene and ensure accuracy of customer data.
- Manage opt-ins, suppress ions, and preference centers.
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other applicable regulations.
- Monitor deliverability and sender reputation.
- Align email campaigns with paid media, social, ecommerce, and content marketing efforts.
- Support product launches, promotions, and brand storytelling initiatives.
- Collaborate with greater marketing team to optimize email- and SMS-driven revenue.

- 2–4+ years of experience in email marketing or CRM.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Strong creative, copywriting and editing skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Experience in ecommerce, DTC, or CPG brands.
- Deep knowledge of email and SMS marketing and integrated CRM strategies.
- Proven success for increasing customer lifetime value and repeat purchases.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
