Marketing Assistant

Michael Best is seeking a Marketing Assistant to assist the members of the Marketing and Communications team with day‑to‑day administrative activities and will assist with events and special projects as needed.

• Maintain and update the firm’s external website working in conjunction with the BD and Creative teams for content.
• Creation and first draft of e‑mail marketing communications including client alerts and announcements.
• Assist with the preparation and promotion of podcasts.
• Maintain awards and accolades support, deadlines, and data entry.
• Assist with the firm’s ongoing digital technology maintenance related to CRM, SEO, and other digital marketing projects.
• Help with proofing external communications including proposals, press releases, pitches, invitations, announcements, client alerts, etc. in addition to formatting assistance (e.g., text changes, pagination, formatting, etc.).
• Review and update social media calendar, coordinate assets needed, and post to Social Media Channels.
• Support the events team with drafting email marketing invitations, assisting with pre‑event preparation (name tag and material development), event set up, greeting guests, etc.
• Update the firm’s intranet with marketing and business development related items.
• Meeting & scheduling assistance for internal team meetings.
• Other day‑to‑day special projects as assigned.

• 1 – 3 Years of experience
• Well‑versed in Word Processing Programs
• Driven & a team player
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to multi‑task
• Highly professional and personable
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Video editing skills are a plus

Compensation for this position will range from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
