Neighbor Works Green Bay Tenant Engagement VISTA
Neighbor Works Green Bay has been a leader in solving housing challenges and building stronger communities across northeastern Wisconsin since 1982. The NWGB VISTA will create new opportunities for our organization to realize its commitment to center resident voices in our decision-making and actions, and to build resident leadership and community engagement capacity. NWGB seeks candidates that bring passion for supporting human development and community leadership development, demonstrated experience in fostering relationship- and team-building, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, resourcefulness and initiative.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a major community development initiative within an organization with a mission to solve housing challenges and build stronger communities. In addition to the standard Ameri Corps living allowance and education stipend, the NWGB VISTA will benefit from a free-rent apartment within a short walking distance of the Neighbor Works Green Bay offices.
This two-bedroom apartment may be shared with a second VISTA member serving with our organization . VISTA position begins August 10, 2026 for a one-year period. Working with an internal change team, the NWGB VISTA will: research best practices in tenant engagement; assess organizational readiness to work productively with engaged tenants; plan, and implement and evaluate goals and strategies for productive organization-tenant partnerships. The VISTA will support development and coordination of a pilot initiative with residents of a 40-unit apartment complex to build resident leadership, engagement, and community participation skills using an asset based community development framework.
