The OrganizationThe Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest youth vote organization. We run large-scale organizing and digital programming to reach and mobilize students across the state. In 2026, we will build on previous cycles to run our strongest program yet and score progressive victories for students. This will be a crucial year for Wisconsin and we need talented, dedicated staff ready to take on this challenge with us.
WhatWill You Do?
We are looking for a Fellowship Director to help manage our statewide organizing Fellowship program. The Fellowship Director should be passionate about reaching young voters wherever they are and driven to train the next generation of campaign leaders. The role will start in the summer and run through 11/15/2026, with potential extension. This position is based in Madison, WI and requires significant in‑person work.
Supporter housing may be available.
The Fellowship Director will report to the Organizing Director and will:
Work collaboratively across departments to develop and manage effective systems to recruit, hire, and onboard student fellows.
Help oversee the planning, development, and execution of the fellowship program on each campus with other Organizing staff.
Provide tools and support required for Organizers to effectively manage fellows on their campuses.
Develop effective statewide trainings for fellows.
Develop creative strategies and systems to support the statewide fellowship program’s success.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
A successful candidate will have:
At least 1–2 cycles of campaign organizing experience.
Experience in a management role, working with fellows, interns, and/or with campus organizing is strongly preferred.
Experience training staff and/or volunteers.
Experience developing systems or programming is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and a passion for the work.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to communicate priorities in both one‑to‑one and group settings.
Compensation for this role is $6000/month plus benefits. This is a full‑time role.
