2026 Resident Engagement Coordinator - Madison, WI

The goal of the Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA Program is to build a better Wisconsin by assisting local organizations to increase the capacity and sustainability of programs focused on alleviating poverty. With passion, commitment, and hard work, our Ameri Corps VISTA members help organizations in bring individuals & communities out of poverty. Member Duties

You’ll expand capacity to support individuals with disabilities through increased resident engagement, program development, and community partnerships that promote stable housing and economic opportunity.

  • RESIDENT ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMMING: Increase resident engagement and access to supportive services through developing events.
  • MILWAUKEE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Plan and implement a grant‑funded initiative to support individuals with disabilities at a site in Milwaukee, focused on advancing education, expanding access to the arts, fostering leadership within marginalized communities, and enhancing the health of older adults.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY: Build organizational capacity through outreach, communications, and resource development.
