Burnett Medical Center is currently seeking full-time or part-time ED Staff Registered Nurses. This position will work 12-hour shifts including every third weekend and one winter holiday and one summer holiday.

The Staff Registered Nurse is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all ages. Demonstrate personal and professional growth and competent nursing practice.

This position is a benefit-eligible position, including health, dental, vision along with employer paid life insurance and short-term disability insurance. We offer up to a 3% match for our 401k retirement plan.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to permit to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
• BLS certification required.
• Current certification or eligibility to become ACLS,TNCC/CALS and Neonatal certified.

• Basic ECG monitoring experience.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Medical/Surgical. Prior Critical Care and or Emergency Care experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse people
• Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions.

Must pass drug screen and physical therapy evaluation at the time of hire.
