Job Summary
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 4NW Cardiac Step‑Down Unit located within the Florence Hospital.
Registered Nurse (RN), 4NW Telemetry/Cardiac – 32 Bed Unit:
Full‑time – 36 hours/week, Day Shift 7 A‑7 P.

The licensed registered nurse is responsible for providing evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to established ethical and cultural codes and standards of nursing practices while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes. The RN must demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors, and other employees regardless of cultural background.

- Meet contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state‑required courses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, and policies, and competence in mathematical calculations associated with medication administration.
- Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
- Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
- Able to critically think and problem‑solve in routine and emergency situations.
