We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations, ensuring donor eligibility, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a Medical Support Specialist, supporting plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and the Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self‑exclusion
• Conduct medical history interviews and apply acceptance requirements
• Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE)
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and handle medical emergencies, including referrals to the Center Physician
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation per occupational health guidance
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats

• High school diploma or equivalent, and graduate‑level nursing program with state requirements
• Current RN, NP, or PA license in the state of assignment
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Fulfillment of state IV therapy requirements
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting

$33.44 – $45.98 per hour (actual wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location).
