About the RoleYou will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a Medical Support Specialist, supporting plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and the Center Physician.
How You Will Contribute- Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self‑exclusion
- Conduct medical history interviews and apply acceptance requirements
- Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE)
- Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and handle medical emergencies, including referrals to the Center Physician
- Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
- Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation per occupational health guidance
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats
- High school diploma or equivalent, and graduate‑level nursing program with state requirements
- Current RN, NP, or PA license in the state of assignment
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Fulfillment of state IV therapy requirements
- Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist
- Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Hourly Wage Range$33.44 – $45.98 per hour (actual wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location).
