Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) Appleton, WI. This position involves providing compassionate nursing care within a long-term care setting, primarily during 8-hour day and evening shifts. The role emphasizes flexibility, with involvement across multiple facility units, maintaining high standards of patient care.

• Certifications:
  
  Wisconsin RN license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Education Requirements:
  
  Associate Degree or Certificate.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience required; long-term care experience highly preferred. Acute care experience may be considered if applicant has completed at least one contract.
• Location Requirements:
  Local candidates accepted.
• Schedule:
  
  8-hour shifts, primarily day and evening, with flexibility required. Guaranteed hours per week: 40.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Proven experience working in long-term care, assisted living, or rehabilitation settings, with a patient ratio of 1:10 in rehab and 1:24 in long-term care or assisted living, with CNA assistance. Familiarity with Electronic Patient Charting (EPIC preferred).
• Additional Information:
  The role involves working in a facility recognized for excellence in long-term care, with every other weekend coverage and on-call as needed. Float rotation may be required to other facilities within a 60-mile radius, based on skill set.
