Pet Care Technician

Rustic Acres Pet Lodge located in Clyman, Wi, is seeking a hardworking and compassionate individual with a love for animals to join our team.

We are looking to fill positions for our daycare and lodging programs.

Daycare shifts are Monday-Friday, 6:20 AM-5:30/6:00 PM

Lodging shifts are seven days a week, 6:00 AM-11:00 AM and 3:00 PM-8:00 PM

• Record care instructions as directed by pet parents
• Accurately feed and medicate pets in our care as instructed by their owner
• Monitor group play of various breeds and sizes of dogs
• Laundry, dishes, kennel sanitization, vacuuming, and other general cleaning duties
• Answer emails, phone calls, voicemails, and Facebook messages
• Take payment by cash, check, and card
• Ensure a safe, clean, and loving environment for all pets in our care

• Must be available to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a co-worker
• Endure sitting, standing, and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods
• Ability to be confident around dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
• Must be able to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Must have great communication skills
• Must be a patient and compassionate person
• Must be able to work independently and stay on task
• Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
• Candidates with previous experience working with animals in a professional setting will take priority.
