Job Summary:

The Aseptic Beverage QA Technician is responsible for ensuring that all aseptic beverage products meet quality and safety standards in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role involves monitoring aseptic processing, conducting quality control tests, and maintaining detailed documentation to ensure product integrity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Control & Assurance:

    • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished beverages.
    • Monitor and verify aseptic processing conditions, including sterilization and filling processes.
    • Conduct microbiological and chemical testing of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and FDA regulations.
  • Process Monitoring & Compliance:

    • Inspect aseptic filling and packaging operations to ensure sterility and contamination prevention.
    • Monitor Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) procedures for equipment.
    • Verify the integrity of packaging materials and seals.
  • Data Collection & Reporting:

    • Record and analyze quality test results, identifying trends and deviations.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures, compliance records, and corrective actions.
    • Prepare reports for QA management and assist in audits.
  • Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and report non-conformances, working with production teams to implement corrective actions.
    • Assist in root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
    • Train production staff on quality standards and aseptic processing best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment, preferably in aseptic processing.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, and SQF (Safe Quality Food) regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for extended periods in a production environment.
  • Working in a climate-controlled aseptic production area.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
  • Availability for flexible work hours, including weekends or shift work if required.
