Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on the properties they have financial interest in. The lender contracts with GIS to have inspectors verify property occupancy, report general property conditions, monitor letter delivery/posting, perform vacant interior walk-throughs, or provide insurance repair progress reports. Majority of inspections are basic exteriors, with some requiring contact via door knock or letter delivery. Additionally, some inspections require interior access to secured/vacant properties and appointment-based insurance loss inspections.

• Spend extended periods of time driving.
• Manage time efficiently to route and complete inspections with an estimated 3‑5 day turnaround time in your agreed territory.
• Determine occupancy based on industry standards and report general property conditions.
• Use the mobile app InspectorADE to capture photographs, comments, and form documentation.
• Communicate consistently with inspection manager via text, email, and phone.

• Experience preferred; not required.
• Complete a background check using a valid driver's license to obtain a Shield  (Aspen Grove ABC#). If onboarded with GIS, a link will be provided to obtain your Shield .
• Computer and internet connection.
• Vehicle with good gas mileage.
• iPhone or Android device.
• Printer.
• Volt stick.
• Set of 11 Hud keys (Inspector keys). If onboarded with GIS, a link with a discount code will be provided to obtain your Hud keys.
• Daylight availability.
• Office supplies (paper, envelopes, ink).

• Set rate per inspection ($15–$20 per hour based on location and the number of inspections performed).
• Inspections are paid out every Friday for work completed and approved the prior week via direct deposit.
• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
