Pay: $16.30 – $17.50/hour
Classification: Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime)
Schedule: Part-Time | Includes weekend rotation
At Touchmark on West Prospect, our Bistro is more than a place to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. It’s a gathering place where residents and guests connect, relax, and enjoy great service. We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Bistro Attendant / Barista & Bartender who enjoys creating those experiences.
In this role, you’ll wear several hats throughout your day, preparing food and specialty coffee drinks, providing bartending service, assisting customers, and keeping the Bistro welcoming and ready for business. You’ll have the independence to keep things running smoothly while being part of a supportive Dining Services team.

- Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, food, and other Bistro offerings
- Mix and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other alcoholic beverages responsibly and professionally
- Create a comfortable, engaging social atmosphere for residents and guests
- Accurately process purchases and handle cash and other transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked Bistro
- Follow appropriate food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices
Monitor inventory and communicate supply and ordering needs - Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, equipment, and service areas
- Work collaboratively with Dining Services and other departments to provide an exceptional resident experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain within one month
- Bartending or responsible alcohol service experience preferred
- Barista, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience a plus
- Genuine enjoyment of working with and getting to know older adults
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities
- Professional, dependable, patient, and positive approach
- Availability to participate in a weekend rotation
