Manager of Visual Merchandising, Design & Technical Application
The Manager of Visual Merchandising, Design & Technical Application supports the merchandising organization through fixture design, 3D visualization, visual merchandising communications, strategic store initiatives, and store layout documentation.
This position partners cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, store leadership, and operations to coordinate and execute strategic initiatives. The role also leads post-set evaluations and continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, cost, speed to market, and the in-store customer experience while ensuring brand consistency.
Manage production schedules for playbooks supporting capital projects, remodels, seasonal sets, and store execution.
Develop and maintain the Fleet Farm Visual Merchandising Standards Playbook and related merchandising communications.
Create professional presentations, proposals, and executive materials using Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and planogram software.
Produce clear, branded communications by integrating content from multiple stakeholders into a consistent, cohesive format.
Partner with store leadership to coordinate project sequencing, workload planning, and execution for large-scale merchandising initiatives.
Analyze post-set feedback, store observations, and sales performance to continuously improve playbooks, merchandising standards, and execution.
Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and visual merchandising leadership to support strategic initiatives, drive change, and ensure consistent brand execution.
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
5+ years relevant work experience in the retail environment, project management experience, and/or technical skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the relation between product and shelf space.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite:
InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Working knowledge of Sketch Up, Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planogram platform, InDesign, preferred.
