Account Executive, Large Enterprise
Account Executives are solution‑oriented individuals who help clients with their most important critical challenges. The role is a field sales position responsible for direct client contract value retention, growth through contract expansion, and introduction of new products and services. The territory includes specific major client accounts and carries a sales quota of 1M+ of contract value.
What you'll do:- Consult with C‑level executives to develop and implement an enterprise‑wide strategy that improves value delivered by Gartner products and services.
- Manage accounts toward increased customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Fulfill a quota responsibility of 500K+ of contract value within a territory of major client accounts.
- Handle forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- 6+ years of external B2B sales experience with validated consultative sales and prior success.
- Proficiency in account planning and territory management.
- Ability to prospect and run C‑level and senior‑level relationships within midsize and large organizations.
- Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships through insightful, strategic guidance.
- Strong proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the full lifecycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Base salary is estimated at 102,000 USD – 147,000 USD, with additional annual bonus or uncapped sales incentive plan. Benefits include generous PTO, 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year, company stock purchase at discount, and other market‑leading programs.
