Job Overview
Elavon, a leader in payment solutions, is seeking an experienced sales associate with prior industry experience who will partner with business banking relationship managers to support opportunities within $1m‑10m in annual revenues.
Responsibilities- Build and grow bank partner relationships, resulting in consistent referral production.
- Accept warm leads from bank partners and be rewarded for referrals.
- Daily utilization and updating of Salesforce as a CRM tool.
- Develop profitable new business account relationships and increase profitability from existing accounts by selling Merchant Services (Visa/MC/Discover/AmEx processing) to small/medium‑size businesses.
- Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
- Learn and develop expert‑level knowledge of company products and services.
- Present to prospective clients, informing them of the benefits of using the organization’s products and services to meet their needs.
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
- Receive guidance and training in a remote environment and achieve daily objectives as set forth by your manager.
- No experience with Merchant Services required; strong sales experience and willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
- Ability to travel 3‑4 days per week in market (overnights rarely required).
- Expert knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations.
- Excellent marketing, business development/sales, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

$66,640.00 – $78,400.00
