Edge Broadband (Edge) is a growing fiber and wireless Internet provider serving communities across Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. We own and operate multiple regional networks and brands, including Edge Broadband, and we’re expanding: building new fiber infrastructure and bringing best-in-class, high-speed Internet to our residential and business customers.

About the RoleWe are expanding our door‑to‑door sales team, and this is the fastest‑growing team at Edge Broadband. We’re building fiber across southeastern Wisconsin at an aggressive pace, and every mile of new fiber is a neighborhood full of customers waiting to be signed up. You’ll be active across our entire footprint, with the flexibility to start, end, or wrap up your day from any of our offices in the region.
The opportunity here is significant.
This is a door‑to‑door sales role. You will spend your day in neighborhoods, knocking doors, having real conversations with homeowners, and signing up customers for fiber service.
Here’s what makes this different: you’ll be selling a product people actually want. Edge’s fiber is dramatically faster and more reliable than what most households currently have. In many of our territories, we’re the best option on the market by a wide margin. Your job isn’t to convince people they need something they don’t. It’s to show up, introduce what’s new in their neighborhood, and help them switch.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Sales and our marketing team. Strong performers can earn six figures and have a clear path into team lead and management roles as we continue to grow.
What You’ll Do- Knock doors in assigned neighborhoods across Edge Broadband’s southeastern Wisconsin build footprint, with the flexibility to base your day out of any of our offices
- Introduce homeowners to Edge Broadband’s fiber service, explain the product, and close the sale on the spot when possible
- Build rapport quickly, answer questions honestly, and follow up on leads
- Hit and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets
- Track every door knocked, conversation had, and sale closed in our CRM
- Work closely with marketing to coordinate around new construction releases, promotions, and neighborhood launches
- Attend team huddles, coaching sessions, and training to continually sharpen your pitch and close rate
- Represent Edge professionally at all times: you are the face of the company at the door
- Resilient and disciplined: you can knock 100 doors, hear ‘no’ 80 times, and keep going
- Self‑motivated: you set goals, track your numbers, and push yourself without needing constant supervision
- Coachable: you take feedback, iterate on your pitch, and get better every week

- Professional and personable: you can build trust at the door in under 60 seconds
- Hard‑working: comfortable being on your feet outdoors for long stretches in all kinds of weather
Required:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills and comfort talking to strangers
- Ability to walk and stand outdoors for extended periods in varied weather
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Prior door‑to‑door or direct sales experience (telecom, mattress, solar, pest, home services, roofing, alarm, etc.)
- Prior experience in a mission role, military, or other environment requiring discipline, resilience, and daily rejection
- Familiarity with CRM tools (, Hub Spot, or similar)
- Base salary commensurate with experience
- Uncapped monthly commission based on installs closed
- Strong performers earn $70,000–$100,000+ annually
