Position OverviewWe are looking for a Channel Sales Executive to serve as the primary contact for all video solutions selling initiatives with end‑users within the territory, proactively managing relationships and deploying sales actions and strategies to grow business and meet revenue goals.
Responsibilities- Develop new business with end customers fulfilled via our partner channel.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and project quotas focused on Avigilon products and services.
- Promote and market Avigilon’s products and services within the assigned territory and named accounts.
- Support sales activities by creating, nurturing, and responding to opportunities.
- Create and manage a healthy sales funnel and conduct sales calls.
- Coordinate promotional activities, track sales activities, and schedule local promotional work.
- Engage in new account development and work with vertical marketing teams to identify opportunities through associations, conferences, and trade shows.
- Lead video and analytics solution development efforts to address end‑user needs, coordinating involvement of company and partner personnel.
- Prospect daily using all available tools.
- Attain “Trusted Advisor” status with customers and channel partners to enable increased system and business development.
- Forecast sales as required and maintain CRM data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 4+ years of technical solutions sales experience.
- Experience with physical security solutions is a plus.
- Experience working with channel strategies and initiatives.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to speak to our products and solutions.
- Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Proven record of delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
- Strong understanding of our go‑to‑market strategy and sales philosophy.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Time‑management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills and capacity to learn new software.
- Ability to travel weekly (~50% of time) and within the territory.
- Having an established client base in the assigned territory is a plus.
Travel up to 50% of time, primarily within the territory, including car and air travel occasionally.
SalaryBase salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 USD. Pay varies based on experience and qualifications.
