Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for managing and growing customer accounts through solution-based selling, focusing on revenue, margin, and share growth within the assigned territory. Acts as key link between customers and internal teams to ensure reliable delivery, issue resolution, and long-term value creation in alignment with company strategy.

Responsibilities- Deliver profitable sales growth by maintaining and developing existing accounts, promoting improvements in overall contribution, selling new product lines, customer solutions, and share of wallet gains.
- Identify and pursue potential new and existing business opportunities; introduce new products and cost‑reduction programs to aid customer processes.
- Collaborate with commercial team functions to meet customer expectations and objectives.
- Identify prospects, assess product needs, and support product development and research ideas.
- Initiate sales and pricing negotiations to achieve margin targets.
- Maintain updated CRM, including pipeline, prospects, and account plans, to enable business decisions and execution.
- Provide inputs into budget and forecast processes and own annual budget commitment.
- Comply with all Company Policies, including Code of Conduct and expense reporting.
- Own individual development plan (IDP) in agreement with direct line manager.
- Implement and drive an internal value‑based selling approach through customer engagement and account management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a business‑related area, or equivalent combination of experience and certifications.
- Minimum of 10+ relevant industry work experience (or 5 years B2B sales in paint pretreatment and/or industrial coatings market).
- Experience preferred in the paint pretreatment and/or industrial coatings market.
