Job Summary

Responsible for prospecting and running Genius Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid‑size merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain our value proposition and demonstrate our cloud‑based Point of Sale solution.
  • Upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
  • Close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area.
  • Set appointments with business owners via network and referral partnerships.
  • Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present solutions to close sales.
  • Participate in short‑cycle sales process training using Atlas and Salesforce.
  • Maintain client records in the CRM system (Atlas).
  • Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure quota.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and one‑on‑ones with leader.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Live in area relative to job posting location.
  • Ability to be in the field, minimum 75% of the time.
  • Regular short‑distance travel to visit client sites.

  • At least two years of relevant experience.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $50,000.
  • Residual income: ongoing earnings.
  • Monthly/Quarterly bonuses for exceeding quota and achieving sales goals.
  • Annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ (based on skills, performance, location).
