Sales Manager
. This position will oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients. The ideal candidate will forge strong relationships with strategic customers. The position is a key contributor to growing and sustaining our business to achieve long‑term success.
What we need from you:
- Maintain and grow existing client base using data to drive high retention rates and new sales opportunities.
- Perform outbound prospecting for existing customers to identify new business relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Planning, Quality, and Customer Service) to provide customer feedback and drive revenue opportunities.
- Understanding of all clients’ ongoing short- and long-term initiatives, success metrics, issues, and needs.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of current product lines, and opportunities for innovation of new products.
- Conduct market analysis to uncover industry insights, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- 5+ years of sales experience in selling specialty paper products, specifically Tissue sales. Looking for a ‘turnkey’ individual who can hit the ground running.
- Preferred experience in paper-based food packaging sales (wraps, liners, foil laminations, etc.)
- College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience)
- B2B sales and account management experience required.
- High comfort level with interfacing with C-level executives and business owners
- Communicates well and has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knows effective ways to market products and services and learns about new offerings quickly.
- Works well independently and has advanced time management and organization skills.
- Ability to travel to mills or customer locations 80% of the time.
- Able to work and thrive under pressure to help BSP meet monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
