Job Title
Your role ential Responsibilities & Duties The ideal candidate for this position will:
- Support the development of new and existing clients and markets while cross-selling GEI's other core business areas to facilitate growth of GEI's northeast Wisconsin offices.
- Maintain high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact.
- Participate in client-based professional organizations and present at industry events.
- Manage projects and tasks that support clients in the region with investigation and remediation of environmental conditions, environmental due diligence, environmental compliance and permitting.
- Lead and work on a variety of environmental projects throughout the Midwest.
- Prepare project correspondence, data reports, and work plans for internal and client review.
- Mentor and train staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering or Geology;
Masters preferred. - Experience with environmental permitting and compliance, focusing on federal and state environmental regulations is preferred. Experience with Wisconsin's Spill Law and Michigan Part 201 and Part 213 risk-based assessment and closure are a plus.
- Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, and/or Certified Hydrogeologist is preferred.
- 12+ years relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgement, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
- Seller-doer with strong regional connections and an entrepreneurial spirit.
