Security Officer

Security Officer at Dellshire Resort, a world‑class, medieval‑inspired destination in Wisconsin Dells. The role ensures a safe, secure environment for guests, curators, and visitors, protecting the property and assets through routine patrols, monitoring systems, incident response, and detailed documentation.

• Patrol resort grounds, buildings, and parking areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activity, safety hazards, and security risks.
• Monitor surveillance systems, fire panels, and alarm systems; respond immediately to irregularities or emergencies.
• Greet and assist guests, curators, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, disturbances, and guest or curator concerns, following established safety and incident response procedures.
• Complete detailed incident and shift reports with accuracy and clarity.
• Enforce resort policies, procedures, and safety regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
• Collaborate with management and local authorities as needed in emergency or investigation situations.
• Conduct key control and property access audits.
• Support lost and found procedures and ensure proper handling and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing safety and emergency response training.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred; hospitality experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Exercise sound judgment in all situations.

$17.00 per hour.
