Security Officer - Full Time in Appleton, WI

An unarmed patrol officer who monitors and patrols assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, and remains visible to deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor authorization as directed by site policies, and report irregularities involving restricted areas, assets, and/or facility operations.
• Support daily security‑related operations by completing patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications, while following post orders and adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
