We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm & Suppression Technician (Mechanical / Low Voltage) to support installation work on semiconductor process equipment at a major project site in Taylor, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical and/or low voltage background who are comfortable working in a structured, high-spec environment such as data centers or industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Cut, bend, and install up to 1" stainless steel tubing for discharge piping systems
- Perform low voltage wiring for alarm, detection devices, and control panels
- Read and interpret layouts, schematics, and installation instructions
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete installations safely and efficiently
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and site requirements
- Experience with mechanical installation, plumbing, or pipe fitting (stainless steel preferred)
- Experience with low voltage wiring and controls
- Background in fire suppression systems or similar mechanical/electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑spec environment (data center or industrial experience preferred)
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to follow structured installation procedures
- Ability to work on‑site in Taylor, TX
- Experience installing high‑pressure CO2 fire suppression systems
- Experience with system commissioning, testing, and final verification
- Prior work on semiconductor or mission‑critical project
