We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Steamfitter Pre‑Apprentice located in the Menomonie/Eau Claire, WI area. The apprenticeship runs 4–5 years, offering training and a clear path to a journeyman position.

You will work alongside experienced steamfitter journeymen, installing, repairing, and maintaining pipe systems for water, steam, compressed air, liquids, and gases in processing, manufacturing, heating, and cooling applications. As an entry‑level union employee, you will gain hands‑on knowledge, attention to detail, and jobsite organization skills.
What You Need To QualifyApplicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), a clean driving record, and pass the aptitude test and drug screen. Prior construction experience, welding, and brazing skills are a plus.
The role requires lifting, climbing, a strong mechanical background, self‑motivation, and teamwork in fast‑paced construction environments both indoors and outdoors.
