Job Description
Lamar Advertising is hiring an Operations crew member in Green Bay, Wisconsin to install and maintain billboards for clients in De Pere, WI and surrounding areas.
Location:
Green Bay, Wisconsin (serving De Pere, WI and surrounding areas).
- Install and maintain billboard structures, including advertisement installation, structure maintenance, and cosmetic upkeep.
- Handle large vinyl advertisements, assemble and mount them on billboard structures.
- Work at heights up to 200ft, with comfort with heights being a must.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as tightening bolts, painting steel structures, repairing trim, replacing light bulbs, conducting storm damage and minor electrical repairs.
- Use power and manual tools while adhering to safety regulations.
- Attend installer and construction safety meetings as required.
- Maintain operation vehicles, construction tools, and equipment.
- Take completion photos to prove performance of installations.
- Build and install billboard extensions, cut brush/weeds, maintain a clean workshop area.
- Ability to work alone and manage your work schedule effectively.
- Willingness to work at heights up to 100ft (and up to 200ft) safely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Basic computer skills, including Internet navigation and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to carry ladder/tools from vehicle to work site.
- Knowledge of electrical and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and DOT requirements.
- Ability to use construction equipment safely.
- Document installations through photos and written logs.
- Basic mathematics for construction and operations tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Completion of an OSHA 10‑hour Construction course (required).
- Preferred:
Previous experience at heights up to 200ft. - Preferred:
Construction and/or billboard installation experience. - Preferred: CDL or other licenses (not required).
- Monday–Thursday 10‑hour day schedule.
- Hourly pay $20–$25/hr based on experience and qualifications.

- Travel nights away from home less than 10% of the time.
- On‑call shifts may be required.
