Flatwork Foreman

Responsibilities

Working with all segments at Cru:
Custom, Veridian & Commercial
.

• Lead assigned crew to ensure completion of jobs in a way that meets company productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Assign tasks to crew members.
• Train new crew members to work efficiently and safely.
• Ensure the work truck is loaded correctly with proper tools and equipment.
• Vehicle mechanical and safety inspection checklists must be completed before starting the day.
• Maintain truck stocks of consumable materials.
• Organize grading, set up, and concrete pouring.
• Order fill sand, gravel, and lumber.
• Ensure job-site conditions for safety and job quality, and notify your Project Manager of any changes or issues.
• Leave the jobsite clean and orderly upon completion of work.
• Company tools and equipment must be kept clean and in working condition.
• Review and check all timecards, complete all required internal reporting documents.
• Complete final quality review of all jobsites.
• Attend required foreman and safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Three years of minimum field experience in flatwork is preferred.
