Field Service Technician

Stevens Point, WI

We are looking for a Field Service Technician with mechanical aptitude, tech‑savvy skills, and the ability to service electromechanical equipment including self‑checkout systems. This role involves customer installations, maintenance, and service calls across a designated territory to ensure high‑quality support for our retail customers.

• Hourly Pay Range: $18 to $20, depending on location and experience levels
• Overtime available at time and a half
• 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays
• Paid vacation – up to 80 hours in your first year

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment, including self‑checkout systems, within an assigned territory
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Flexible shift work – rotating shifts within set teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, and some holidays
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with hands, and repetitively handling objects of varying sizes

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
• One or more years of related experience
