Do you have an electrical background and enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced environment? Join the engineering team at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel, where you'll help maintain one of Wisconsin's premier full-service hotels and event destinations.
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to support the operation of our hotel, restaurants, meeting spaces, and guest facilities. This position offers variety, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a visible impact every day.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, lighting, outlets, and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance throughout the hotel
- Respond to guest room and building maintenance requests
- Assist with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other facility repairs
- Support renovation and improvement projects
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members
What We're Looking For
- Electrical experience required; licensed electrician a plus
- Commercial, hotel, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to respond to occasional emergency maintenance needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments
