Power Generation Field Service Technician (5+ Years Required)

Location: Butler, WI

Experienced Generator Technicians Wanted

We are seeking individuals with 5+ years performing maintenance and repairs on generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS). Join Interstate Power Systems and work on industry-leading equipment supporting critical power systems across the region.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators and ATS systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Complete load bank testing, installations, and system upgrades
• Respond to service calls and support customers in the field
• Document work, parts, and service reports accurately
• Follow all safety and compliance standards

• 5+ years of generator and ATS experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of diesel/natural gas engines and electrical systems
• Experience with troubleshooting control systems and switch gear
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

• Experience with load banking, paralleling systems, or controls
