The candidate will learn pre‑fabrication/welding processes and assist welders/fabricators with grinding pipe, loading trucks, heat treating, hydro testing, acid washing, material distribution, and operating a forklift, Sky Trak, and/or tractor.
QualificationsMetal Trades Fabricator applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must meet the required norms on an aptitude test. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and crouch throughout a 10‑hour shift, read and use measuring devices, and work in a team environment. Positive attitude, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast‑paced, sometimes loud work environment are required.
Safety regulations must be followed at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, hand, knee, and foot protection).
