What you'll be doing as a Tree Service Technician
  • Trimming and removing trees with precision, using bucket trucks or spider lifts for safe and efficient work
  • Cleaning up worksites and properties, leaving every job looking spotless and professional
  • Safely operating trucks and specialized equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site
  • Removing wood and tree debris, making sure every project is completed with a focus on quality and cleanliness
  • Assisting with routine maintenance on equipment and tools, keeping everything in top shape for optimal performance
  • Working alongside a passionate, skilled team to provide exceptional tree care services and exceed customer expectations
  • Taking part in ongoing training to stay ahead of industry standards and techniques, advancing your skills with every project
What you'll bring to the table as a Tree Service Technician
  • High School Diploma or equivalent - a solid educational foundation
  • Valid Driver's License - ability to operate company vehicles safely
  • Dependable attendance - showing up on time and ready to work is key
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail - a commitment to getting the job done right every time

  • Physical stamina - ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Experience with machinery and equipment maintenance - a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate

Physical Requirements
  • Physical Stamina:
    Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of Specialized Equipment:
    Operating bucket trucks, spider lifts, and other machinery, which requires physical coordination and strength.
  • Manual Labor:
    Removing wood and tree debris, cleaning up worksites, trimming and removing trees.
  • Maintenance Tasks:
    Assisting with the routine maintenance of equipment, which might involve physical effort in handling tools and machinery.
Estimated Percentage of Time Spent on Each Activity
  • Trimming and Removing Trees (using bucket trucks or spider lifts): 40-50% of the time. This is a key task involving specialized equipment and physical effort.
  • Cleaning Up Worksites and Properties: 15-20% of the time. Cleaning up and ensuring the site is spotless after work is a crucial but somewhat less frequent task.
  • Operating Trucks and Specialized Equipment: 10-15% of the time. This involves driving company vehicles and handling specialized tree care equipment.
  • Removing Wood and Tree Debris: 10-15% of the time. This is manual labor and involves lifting and transporting debris, requiring physical strength.
  • Assisting with Equipment Maintenance: 5-10% of the time. Maintenance tasks might take less time compared to the actual tree care work.
  • Training and Team

    Collaboration:

    5-10% of the time. Ongoing training and teamwork are important but less time-consuming than physical tasks.
