Electrician

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrician to support integrated facility services in commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial environments. This role installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, equipment, lighting, and controls while ensuring NEC and local code compliance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, panel and conduit work, and documenting repairs. The Electrician works closely with facility and maintenance teams, follows strict safety and NFPA 70E practices, and supports ABM's culture of safety, respect, and inclusion with opportunities for training and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems, equipment, and lighting
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using test instruments and diagnostics to minimize downtime
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA 70
• E, and local electrical codes and ABM safety standards
• Perform preventive maintenance on panels, circuits, motors, and control systems
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan and execute tasks
• Install and repair conduit, raceways, panels, breakers, and related hardware
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections
• Collaborate with facility, maintenance, and operations teams to support safe, efficient building operations
