The Roof Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing roofing issues, performinghighqualityrepairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves working at heights, using a variety of tools, and repairing different roofing systems such as asphalt shingles, metal, EPDM, TPO, and other materials. The ideal candidate has strongproblemsolvingskills, attention to detail, and prior roofing experience.

• Inspect residential and commercial roofs toidentifyleaks, storm damage, and structural issues.

• Perform roof repairs, including shingle replacement, flashing repair, patching, sealing, and structural fixes.

• Diagnose ventilation issues, moisture problems, and other related roof system concerns.

• Safelyoperatetools such as nail guns, roofing knives, ladders, and harness systems.

• Document repair findings with photos and written notes.

• Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and solutions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.

• Assist with emergency/urgent repair calls as needed.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

• Required:

• 3 years of experience inroofingrepair or installation.

• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

• Strong understanding of common roofing systems (asphalt, metal, flat roofs).

• Ability to lift 50–75lbsregularly.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Preferred:

• Experience with roof leak detection.

• Basic carpentry or construction background.

• Knowledge of local building codes.

• Strong problem solving abilities

• Attention to detail

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• Mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
