Role:
Adult Residential Support Professional in a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.
Responsibilities:Support residents' recovery by providing daily encouragement, monitoring well-being, administering medications, assisting with daily tasks, maintaining confidentiality, responding to emergencies, facilitating activities, transporting residents, collecting specimens, and attending trainings.
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; experience in human services preferred; coursework in social work or related fields advantageous. Must have strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license is required. DHS 83 training is preferred but can be completed post-hire.
Skills &Key Duties:
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain professional boundaries, handle crisis situations, and support residents in achieving treatment goals. Some local travel may be necessary.
