Food Delivery

POSITION SUMMARY:
The driver is responsible for gathering and delivering orders, processing cash payment or providing credit card slips for customer orders. Assisting co-workers while not on the road is key to providing top service and experience for the customer and makes us proud of who we are at GNP!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to read map based on grid system
• Knowledge of streets in delivery area & most efficient routes
• Personable, good customer service skills and able to communicate with coworkers and customers alike
• Safe driving habits
• Full understanding of traffic laws, including parking laws & no parking zones
• Able to operate POS system for routing, locating orders, and taking orders over the phone
• Dish washing, soda stocking, pizza cut table, general cleaning, answering phones, and other small side duties.
• Comfortable around pets you may encounter on deliveries
• Able to drive in all weather and lighting conditions
• Have a working phone

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Must be friendly, punctual and guest service oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Must have valid U.S. driver’s license for 2 years minimum
• Must have a registered, reliable car in good working order
• Safe driving and following rules of the road must be a priority
• Vehicle has minimal or no body damage, no loud noise, free of potentially controversial images or stickers
• Working charger for car light cable or able to attach to battery
• Rooftop available to mount magnetic logo sign
• Ability to work according to availability and as scheduled, with open end times
• Valid insurance on any/every vehicle that will be driven for work
• Hiring contingent upon GNP company insurance approval

• Must be at least 18 years of age OR have had a valid DL for 2 consecutive years

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to stand/walk/sit/drive for 8 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
• Will frequently lift, bend, carry, stoop, drive, and sit
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors
• Must be able to tolerate interacting with customers in uncontrolled environments
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: eggs, dairy, soy, gluten
