Courier​/Non-DOT

Overview

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED.

• None.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Neat appearance required since customer contact is required.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

• Pay: $23.21 per hour starting pay.

• Tuesday-Friday 5:20am-10:30am.
• Saturday 7:10am-4pm.
