Position Summary

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm or until all deliveries are completed. Overtime required as needed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive a Sprinter van on one of our many routes while making 10–20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver’s logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law.
  • Make on‑time deliveries at customers’ locations while maintaining safe, punctual conduct in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections on the vehicle you are driving that day.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; use team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
  • When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, and other equipment when needed.
  • Work approximately 8–12 hours per day.
  • Operate a handheld device provided by the company and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
  • Perform other job‑related tasks as instructed by your supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands
:
The employee must be able to lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Occasionally exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds. Handling commercial tires requires team lifts or mechanical equipment.

Protective equipment required
:
Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots. All team members must adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for acceptable use of protective equipment.

Work environment
:
Exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise, fumes from tires and occasional car parts and lubricants, and working in a compact trailer space.

Qualifications
  • Must be 19 years or older.
  • One year of professional driving experience (sprinter van, box truck, or semi) and satisfactory completion of a company road test.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record in accordance with our driver policy.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and sometimes up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Pass a pre‑employment drug test (no THC testing).
  • Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
