Truck Driver – Whey Pickup & Delivery
Position Type:
Full-time, Hourly
Reporting To:
Manager of Logistics
- Operate tanker trucks safely to transport liquid whey between farms, plants, and facilities
- Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries in line with schedules and customer requirements
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
- Load and unload whey using pumps and hoses following sanitation standards
- Maintain accurate logs for hours of service (HOS), mileage, and deliveries per DOT regulations
- Monitor product quality, including temperature and condition during transport
- Follow all safety, environmental, and food quality standards and procedures
- Clean and sanitize tanker equipment and maintain hygiene standards
