Delivery Driver - CDL B

Job Title

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The duties include:

• Driving a box truck or semi during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day
• Keeping complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Lifting 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lifting up to 80 pounds
• Exerting a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
• Assisting in the loading/unloading of trucks when needed
• Driving to customer locations to deliver orders in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
• Operating a handheld device provided and ensuring all deliveries are fulfilled
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management

The qualifications include:

• Must be 23 years or older (mandatory company policy)
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) B and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
• 2 years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience (Class A or
  
  B), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
• Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts, as required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
