Summary: Support Werner’s customers through operations in our Regional Distribution Center by receiving, storing, and distributing materials. Support Werner's CDL drivers by delivering product to branch locations as needed or directly to jobsites in the state of Wisconsin. Part of this employee's day will be utilizing a forklift in the warehouse to load trailer and support general warehouse duties.
- Sunday Night - Thursday Night work schedule (5 days a week)
- Hours 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM with flexibility
- Consistent schedule every week
- Work now through October
- Prior experience in driving a motor vehicle.
- Maintain valid driver’s license with Class A CDL
- Clean driving record for past 3 years.
- Ability to learn and use MS Outlook
- Professional written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- HS Diploma or higher
- Previous working experience in delivery, transportation, distribution, warehousing, or customers
- 1-3 years previous driving experience with Class A CDL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive truck or tractor trailer to deliver products to Werner locations and/or customer’s job site.
- Load and unload truck or trailer, utilizing equipment as needed (forklift, pallet jack).
- Sort and distribute transfer materials into appropriate order for delivery.
- Safely consolidate product to load trailer effectively, including stacking/wrapping pallets and engaging load bars.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and coordinate necessary routine maintenance with leasing company.
- May assist with other warehouse tasks.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls. Employee frequently uses computer keyboard. Employee is required to ascend and/or descend a ladder or stairs to reach work areas. The employee must frequently move up to 25 pounds, regularly move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.
