Starting pay rate: $28–$32/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime as needed. This role involves driving and warehouse responsibilities with an emphasis on safe, reliable delivery and customer service.
- Deliver materials to customers, using pallet jacks and dollies to load/unload and ensuring delivery paperwork is completed.
- Pick up and validate customer returns for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE, including safety harness where applicable.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material as needed.
- Adhere to overtime requirements and maintain compliance with safety and DOT standards.
- Must hold a valid CDL A license.
- 1–3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and meet CDL requirements.
- Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card where required.
- Ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to operate basic technology, including tablets.
