About the RoleThe Warehouse Operator is responsible for the movement of materials in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining product quality. Duties include receiving, shipping, and freezer operations, and the use of SAP, RF scanning, and bar‑coding technology.
Responsibilities- Safely operate various powered industrial trucks within the facility.
- Follow all GMP, USDA, OSHA, plant guidelines, and departmental policies.
- Accurately transfer and verify materials, ensuring cleanliness and preparedness for storage.
- Adhere to First Expire, First Out (FEFO) inventory management to maintain product integrity.
- Correctly follow SOPs, complete required certification, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
This role works in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to loud noises, strong odors, temperature fluctuations, moving machinery, wet or humid conditions, hazardous chemicals, high or confined areas, extreme temperatures, and vibration. It also involves prolonged standing, walking, communicating, and sensory tasks, while frequently handling objects, climbing, balancing, and performing various physical movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required.
PM Shift (6 PM – 6 AM) on a 2‑2‑3 schedule, shift differential offered.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 + months of warehouse experience required; food manufacturing and line support material handling experience preferred.
- 6 + months of forklift operation experience required.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse practices and procedures.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt quickly to new equipment, processes, and roles.
- Strong technical ability with a digital‑first approach and accurate data entry.
- Clear communication skills in written, oral, and diagrammatic forms; independent completion of documentation in English.
- Attention to detail, prioritizing product quality, safety, and accurate record‑keeping.
- Positive, team‑focused attitude and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Analytical, problem‑solving skills to make effective decisions in diverse situations.
- Physical capability to bend frequently and lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency in safely operating Powered Industrial Vehicles.
Starting at $29.30 USD hourly, with bonus eligibility and hourly pay differential for applicable shifts.
