Job Responsibilities

• Prints anddistributespick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary.
• Organizessequenceof pulling material and relays information to Material Support.
• Ensuresproduction schedules are met by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions.
• Ensures good communication and feedback with management, employees on their shift,and between shifts.
• When assigned,assists the supervisor/area manager with Continuous Improvement Projects, evaluation of new equipment, determination of training needs and interviewing/hiring.
• Monitors andenforcesshop floor control systems.
• Follows all safety procedures, wears properPPE. Proactively identifies and corrects unsafe conditions.
• Studies systems and procedures for opportunities for improvement. Proposes changes to Materials Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

• Oneyear of relevant experience and/or training preferred.

Physical Demand sand Work Environment

• Some physical demand,often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to performoccasionalto frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection must be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
