- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work OT during busy periods
- Basic computer system knowledge
- Previous forklift experience is a plus
- Receive incoming copper and aluminum wire shipments and verify their quantity and quality.
- Use wire cutting equipment to accurately cut wire to specified lengths, following product specifications.
- Receive, inspect, store, and pick electrical materials including conduit, PVC, channel, and cable tray.
- Ensure proper labeling of tag number, organization, and storage of the materials for easy retrieval.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS transactions including footage marking management.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishing the inventory as needed.
- Inspect wire cuts and materials for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or discrepancies.
- Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the handling process.
- Prepare materials for outbound shipments including picking, packing, shipping labels, packing lists, and staging.
- Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, coilers, spoolers, compartments, and A-frames.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- All other duties assigned.
