Math TEAMS Teacher — Elevate Student Math

5th Grade Teacher – Millbrook Middle School

Applicant must possess proper Alabama certification or credentials meeting qualifications to obtain appropriate certification or Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Ability and willingness to obtain or hold Alabama Teacher’s Certification. If you are a full‑time certified employee of Elmore County Board of Education, you must submit a transfer.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Alabama professional educator certificate or alternate certificate in middle level math or secondary math.
• Teach full‑time approved math courses in grades 6‑12.
• Currently hold or plan to obtain an Advanced Credential from either the National Institute for STEM Education or the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Alabama professional educator certificate or alternate certificate in middle level science or secondary science.
• Teach full‑time approved science courses in grades 6‑12.
• Currently hold or plan to obtain an Advanced Credential from either the National Institute for STEM Education or the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Remove and replace trash liners in cafeteria, serving area and kitchen.
• Clean and sanitize cafeteria during and after meal service, including tables, chairs, floors and high‑touch surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Certified by the State of Alabama in the appropriate area.
• Must meet highly qualified status as determined by Alabama.
