Position Overview

The

CNC Programmer II

supports the fabrication of production and prototype tooling, fixtures, and machined parts by programming and optimizing a variety of CNC machines. This role uses

blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications

to develop accurate, efficient toolpaths that meet tight tolerance and quality requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer who enjoys multi-axis machining, process optimization, and mentoring operators and junior programmers.

What You Will Do

Create and edit CNC programs to ensure complete processes and high-quality parts

Design

fixtures

for production and prototype manufacturing using CAD software

Maintain and organize the CNC program directory

Provide

CNC programming training

to operators and other programmers

Implement program changes per

ECR / ECO

processes

Create toolpaths from prints and 3D models

Evaluate jobs for proper manufacturing methods and sequencing

Program parts directly from

CAD files or prints

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Associate’s Degree (Preferred)

Experience Qualifications

5+ years of experience programming, tooling, and operating CNC and manual equipment

(Required)

2+ years of experience with Surf Cam

(Required)

2+ years of experience with Mastercam

(Preferred)
